I can't check right now but if i remember rightly, the uncompressed capacity
of a 160m 8mm tape is 7gb.
With compression you could get 2-3 times this much, so 14-21gb depending on
the compressability of the stuff you're saving.
The Backup and Recovery manual has recommended settings for
compression/compaction.
