We have several IDEAs terminals. Most have more than one device configured.
One terminal, our system console, can only use the first session. Don't
know why. Others on the same controller work fine. Just this one on CTL01,
Port 0 with switch settings of 0 & 1 cannot get a signon to the second
session. I have assumed that the terminal is bad.

Subject: Jump key on IDEA terminal

I just finished a CISC to RISC upgrade for one of our clients, and
everything went well except a JUMP key on an IDEA terminal.

This JUMP key works well to 'jump' to a second session (which requires a
seperate twinax address). But the jump key does not work on this IDEA
terminal. I see the 400 poll the terminal regularly, but the terminal
does not respond.

Does anyone have experience with IDEA?

important things in life, there would be a shortage of fishing poles!
