Yes, I saw those. I bought a NETGEAR box. It was a couple of dollars more,
but I have experience
with their products already.

My firewall test was unsuccessful. The firewall config wanted a router address
and an interface
address. My cable modem had the IP address but there was no router.

Once I get the netgear box, I won't need the firewall licpgm because it's built
into the netgear.

This might provide a decent solution. Probably more intended for the home
market
but for about $200 can't go wrong.

I have a cable modem that I want to use to provide temporary access to my
AS/400. Since the cable
company has never heard of an AS/400, I have to set this up myself.

On my PC, I just set the network card to "optain IP Address automatically",
and I guess the network
card uses the cable companies DHCP server.

Can I config my AS/400 to do this? I have both an IPCS and an ethernet
card. V4R4.
