I checked with IBM because I wanted to make sure that these files were OV/400 and not system directory files. Their suggestion was to: Rename the files: QAOFENRB QAOFENR2 Delete the user profile. Rename the files back. I asked them if they had a problem with us using a utility, like UPDDTA, to delete user profiles from the files. They didn't think it was a big problem, since we no longer have OV/400. So I created a save file, QUSRSYS/QAOFENRBAK, and saved the files in there and cleared them. I couldn't use UPDDTA because of DFU0810. So I just used CLRPFM. albert.york@nissan-usa.com on 05/19/2000 07:20:42 PM Please respond to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com@Internet To: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com@Internet cc: Fax to: Subject: RE: Deleted OV/400. Now, how to delete users? There are a series of files in QUSRSYS where this information is stored. They all start with 'QAOKP0'. Delete all records for the user from these files. Be sure to back them up first. -----Original Message----- From: Rob Berendt [SMTP:rob@dekko.com] Sent: Friday, May 19, 2000 3:15 PM To: midrange-l@midrange.com Subject: Deleted OV/400. Now, how to delete users? We deleted OV/400 from one of our 400's prior to removing all users from OV/400. Now we have a problem when we try to delete a user profile.
