Use SNDDST TYPE(*LMSG) TOINTNET('MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com') LONGMSG('....') I have also got TYPE(*DOC) and TYPE(*FILE) to work intermittently. If you can get these to work reliably, please tell me how. If you use TYPE(FILE) no translation to ASCII is automatically done. CPYTOPCD does this for you, and you can then send the document. LMSG is suitable for sending a short (1-2page) spool file, but you have to write a program to generate the long message from the spool file, including line breaks (can supply on request).
