Only one user can have delete access to QSYSOPR at a time, so if you take control of it . . . CHGMSGQ MSGQ(QSYSOPR) DLVRY(*BREAK) SEV(90) only you will be able to delete messages from it; everyone else will only be able to view/display. The SEV(90) will ensure you are not disturbed by too many breaking messages. I have the above command in my INLPGM.
