Only one user can have delete access to QSYSOPR at a time, so if you take
control of it . . .

CHGMSGQ MSGQ(QSYSOPR) DLVRY(*BREAK) SEV(90)

only you will be able to delete messages from it; everyone else will only be
able to view/display.

The SEV(90) will ensure you are not disturbed by too many breaking messages.
I have the above command in my INLPGM.

Subject: QSYSOPR message queue

What's the best way to prevent users from deleting messages in the QSYSOPR
message queue? I need some people to have access to this but I want to
prevent them from clearing messages.

Thanks,

Jeff Schmehl
