FTP is most certainly not the fastest method of sending the data around. Not
unless you use a separate data compression scheme. SNDNETF or SAVRSTxxx can
give you better performance, but you have to configure SNA modes to support
session level compression and change the AS/400 network attributes
accordingly. As far as ease of use is concerned, it's a matter of taste
really.
