Dear Jeff

If you want to go a bit further you could consider attaching a data
queue to the relevant output queues. Every time a spool file (SPLF)
arrive on the OUTQ an entry is written to the DTAQ. You could read this
DTAQ and compare the spool file name against a (Physical file) PF that
contain details of which distribution lists and/or users this SPLF
should be distributed to.

There several systems on the market that can handle all report
distribution. These vary from simple distribution only systems to
sophisticated application that allow reports to be emailed or published
to an intranet or internet. These can also incorporate archiving and
report reformatting.

I once did a little spreadsheet that compares some of these systems, if
you are interested I will be happy to email it to you.

Best regards

Jacob Christiansen
