Solaris. The article assumed a smaller company being bought by a larger and having its network integrated with the larger company's. The test compared how easy it was to integrate Solaris, OS/400, Novell, Linux, and Win$2K into the larger company's already heterogeneous network. It was a close second. The little thermometer graphic they use looked identical to me for Solaris and OS/400. They used to give numerical scores, but they went with icons a while back. > -----Original Message----- > From: Eric Kempter [mailto:noerick.norcal@cleancity.com] > Sent: Monday, May 15, 2000 2:35 PM > To: 'MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com' > Subject: RE: AS/400 in mainstream trade press--InfoWorld.com > TestCenter > Page ( frame) > > > What was first? > > On Monday, May 15, 2000 1:08 PM, Joel Fritz > [SMTP:JFritz@sharperimage.com] wrote: > | I'm always at least a week behind on my trade magazines. > Here's a link to > | last week's "InfoWorld."
