Hi Alan,

We are using the 1.3 GB HP optical platters (both WORM and Erasable) and the
info is available on the H-P website.  The advertised shelf life of their
media is 100 years.

Check out http://www.hp.com/storagemedia/english/cdrw.html.  There was an
FAQ and tech specs for the various cdrw media the last time I was there.
