Hi, I have a QMS 2060 Print System with a Ethernet Port in a AS400 ( V4 r4 )environement. We use the TCP/IP protocol with a static IP as the default printing system. In an NT Environement we dont have any kind of problems in sending print jobs to the printer. We need to use the Write ( devprt ) of AS400 to set up this printer, but this is not possible with any of the emulation modes supported b this printer. We tried the OUTQUEUE mode with several emulations of the printer, and all that we have managed to accomplish is a poor printing page with margins problems. My question is : Is this Printer compatible with AS400 system ? If so, how can i set up the printer using Write ( DEVPRT ) mode of the AS400 system.
