My former boss was the ops manager at Amazon.  Though she grew up
with S/3x and AS/400, when she went there in 1996 Amazon was a DEC
/ Unix shop.  I just tried to hail her and she's not there
anymore...

P.S.  (When she went there she tried to bring me along...   but I
didn't want to commute all the way to downtown Seattle to do unix
for some internet startup that couldn't make a profit, no matter
how many shares they were offering.  Pretty smart huh?)
