Sure. "F16=User options" are stored in a file. Unless this is changed in "F18=Change Defaults", the file is QAUOOPT in library QGPL, member QAUOOPT. If you can't assume this, then (short of signing on as the user whose PDM User Options you're trying to View/Change) you'll have to get the identity of the user options file from the user's profile. The only way to get the information out of the user's profile object is to use the DMPSYSOBJ command. Without going into all the gory details of that <g>, I have a "utility" that creates a data area containing all of the information found in "F18=Change Defaults". Email me privately if you'd like the source to create the utility. Oh, completing the answer... Once you know the User Options file name, you can view/change it just like any other file, i.e., use DBU, an RPG application, etc. One caveat however, if you *add* options to an existing list of options, the options you add will appear at the bottom of the list when you view them via F16=User Options, and not necessarily in option ID sequence like you would expect. Workarounds: Clear the options file member you're adding new options to and build it from scratch. *OR* From the F16=User Options display, type a 2=Change for each of the added options and press Enter for each of these; PDM then somehow "recognizes" the options and puts them in the proper sequence in the list.
