There's the IBM Net.Data web site, http://www.as400.ibm.com/netdata and there's Ignite 400, http://www.ignite400.org/. Both have quite a bit of sample code. The two hour window presupposes some familiarity with HTML. In two hours or less, provided you have the HTTP server configured correctly, you should be able to set up a screen that will serve up report data from spool files copied to data base files. It might take a bit longer to refine the cosmetic side. News 400, in 1997 or 98, I believe, published some code for creating HTML files from data base files created from spool files. Their approach was very simple--copy the spool file to a data base file, run the file through a program that inserted a minimal set of HTML tags, and save it in a new file. You can download the code from their web site. This works very well to present the data in a format identical to the original spool file. It's not as pretty as the sort of thing you can do with a script or a program, but it's darned quick and reliable. > -----Original Message----- > From: Karen D.
