Yes it does say Command STRINFSKR has been removed. The text refers to the softcopy CD and the web site. Now my only problem will be finding a copy of the softcopy cd since I threw the ones away that I got with the upgrade. Who knew that I would ever need it!! (If you type STRINFSKR and press Enter, do you get a "Command not found" or somesuch? If you do, I think it no longer exists on V4R4.) Paul, do yourself and your programmers a huge favor. Install the Softcopy CD-ROM. Install the Bookmanager software on each programmer's workstation and install the books and bookshelves on a network drive that your programmers have access to. The Softcopy CD-ROM has directions for setting this up. This is presuming, of course, that you're not using dumb terminals. <g> If your programmers have internet access, another option is to use IBM's online documentation. The best way to access this, I've found, is to use News400's Index400, found at: http://www.as400network.com/index400/Index.html My current preference is the Softcopy over IBM's web-based docs. Depending on your connection speed, Softcopy may be much faster to search and access the documentation you're looking for. But either solution is heads and tails better than STRINFSKR.
