Stuart, I don't know if it can be prevented from spooling or not. If it can't, the simplest solution in a CL program is something like this: OVRPRTF (whatever the print file's name is) HOLD(*YES) RUNSQLSTM (something-or-other) DLTSPLF (whatever...)
