from Al Macintyre

by IBM standards V3R7 is an obsolete version of OS/400, so we should not
expect to find a whole lot of manuals under such a reference. However, most
OS/400 stuff is 95% or better identical from version to version. Here are
some of our manuals that you might consider getting ... each line starting
with the IBM catalog order # ... if you talk to a real human being at IBM,
you might ask about earlier / later editions closest to your OS/400 version.

G325-6328 poster "Are You Saving The Right Stuff" probably free
G325-6334 poster "info-e system library" (publication URLs/category)

I would not be surprised if there is a whole series of useful G325-63
something posters

SX21-9087 AS/400 IPL reference card (this is the two sided form with IPL
choices that belongs real close to the CPU)

SC41-5206 AS/400 Basic System Operation, Administration, and Problem Handling
... we have two versions of this ... a green screen version & an Operations
Navigator version
SC21-8384 AS/400 Operator Tasks - Multiple Operating Systems
SC41-5161 Getting your AS/400 Working for you

We got lots of other manuals, but the above are closest to what you were
asking about.

We just got a catalog from www.system3x.com which is having a sale on
overstocked products ... their AS/400 books listed in the front of the
catalog are like $40.00 - 100.00 each but the overstocked is $10.00 each
including one on AS/400 architecture & one on AS/400 programming & operations.

If you join www.AS400network.com you get a very fine News/400 magazine & huge
discounts on their AS/400 books
