BTW, When you buy the interactive processor, is that really a processor? Do
this means that all 720 has at least 2 main processors? One for batch and
one interactive? If so, there is any way to change that? I mean, if a don't
have to much batch load, can I use this processor for interactive load? I
will love to put that in my wish list :)

Emilio,

They're not so much trying to kill off green screen as much as they're
trying to be (somewhat) competitive with the newer applications such as web
serving, Domino, C/S. All of these have a high CPU batch requirement.

Hi everybody,
I was checking prices for an AS/400 with my configurator,
and it seems that
IBM is trying to kill Green screen applications on the
AS/400. Why do I
think that? Check out the prices by CPW on an AS/400 720,
Processor 2062 -
420CPW Batch & 1503 - 240 CPW.
