While I've always seen sysval QTIME being adjusted, I've been
wondering if the adjustment should actually be made to QUTCOFFSET
instead. I've never actually worked at a shop that used the
Coordinated universal time offset properly, so I'm unsure of how it
is implemented on the AS400. Any comments?

Hi Carlos,
I use a scheduled job; it's not quite automatic, but I don't have to
come to work in the early hours of a Sunday morning. My PC running WinNT4
changed automatically, so did my old 486 under Win95 (without Y2K
compliance) - Bill Gates got something right then.
It's about time IBM joined the real world and gave us this facility in
OS/400.
