These tools were developed by Jim Sloan, who was like the IBMer father of the
AS/400, according to a number of IBMers who I have spoken with. He wrote a
package of tools to help his peers use AS/400 efficiently, then when he
retired, IBM no longer offered them as part of OS/400, but we can get them
from Jim who continues to add to the collection - I got this info from
various IBM school faculty ... who were reluctant to give out the info
because they said that if they spoke about one tool, they would have to talk
about them all & there's a lot, so in my class feedback I suggested future
curriculum budget a 1/3 day to review the major non-IBM tools/400.

On BPCS_L a long time ago I listed some tools that I do not have where I
work, such as Robot, TAATOOLS, As/Set & asked which were considered by my
peers to be the most valuable ... Robot won with TAATOOLS close second ...
however what I now want most to be added is Display Active Jobs on AS/400 in
M/36 style ... what users are running what programs eating what resources,
which I do not get from WRKACTJOB which only shows the outer task on the main
screen, ... which is shareware from
