Hi Andrei and the gang - >If Express is used, a single WORKSTATION ID NAME inside the >first Client session will enable multiple sessions, with >incremental device names. Several choices are available for >this ID NAMES. You even pasted the APAR info, all is clear now. FYI for anyone who is going to try using this functionally ... the APAR information implies that the seed value for the device name must be the computer name or user name. This is not the case. A constant can also be used for the seed, such as usingg ABCDEF* for the workstation ID where ABCDEF is the seed and the asterisk indicates that the session id is to be appended on the end to make the device name. I assume that this will work with the equal sign on the end also; I haven't tried that. +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
