It depends.  It depends on what you are trying to do.  The skills 
base of your current site.  What software you have.  And what volume 
of transactions you plan on processing.  (You don't want to get a rep 
like Toys-Are-Us!)

For a simple proof of concept you could use NET.DATA.  Requires 
knowledge of SQL, your business' data files, and some HTML.  I can 
email you the code, and all HTTP configuration I did, to make a simple 
proof of concept here.  I had it working in under two hours and I don't 
know jack about HTML.  Prompts for customer number and shows you their 
orders.  This email might be in the archives.  NET.DATA comes free with
OS/400.
