There is a time client written in "C" for the AS400 to connect to one of the
NTIS time server via the internet.  You can point it to your Main Frame's IP
address if you have a Time Server running on your Main Frame.  I got the
source from this list.  Check out the Midrange Archives.

I wonder if anyone knows about a utility or licensed program to get the time
from a common time source. The idea is that we use our Mainframe as a
Timeserver and all Midrange Systems should source their time from there.
