Express comes in two flavors. The free one includes things like OpsNav, NetServer (folders and printing) ODBC, etc. (lots of stuff). The chargeable portion of Express (5250 display, printer, and file xfer) costs about $275/copy. The minimum config of display, printer, and file xfer takes up about 32MB on the PC. > >Just out of interest, is Express free? Would it work with V3R1M1 ? and >if there is a positive answer to the preceding questions, do I get from >the AS/400 site @ IBM ? > >I need something easier than CA/400 or even something that works, well >maybe I shouldn't be to quick to blame my tools ;-) My CA Express replacement (the chargeable portion) choice has been Synapse NetWolf because it is full featured, simple to use, cheaper, and comes with free tech support and free online updates.
