SMTP Question

I've loaded SMTP (STRTCPSVR) and the system indicates that it is loading it.
However, when I check to see if it has actually been loaded (looking for a
job called QTSMTPSRVR) it is no where to be found.  Consequently, my
intranet e-mail is not working.  Is there possibly a conflict? Or perhaps a
step that I've missed?  Any help would be helpful.
