WRKFLR only allows you to see what is under QDLS. Use WRKLNK instead.
I use WRKLNK '/*' in case someone changes my home directory in my user profile.

If you're going to whip out commands then how about:
MD or MKDIR or CRTDIR, all the same, can be run from 5250 if you want
RD or RMDIR or RMVDIR, all the same, can be run from 5250 if you want
CPY used to copy from one directory to another.
SAV used to save objects from a directory to a save file, tape or whatever.
CPYTOSTMF STMF's will be explained if you use WRKLNK, it's a visual thing.
CPYFRMSTMF these two commands are like CPYFRMPCD/CPYTOPCD instead they
don't limit you to QDLS and have other options. Basically they are used to
copy from DB2/400 to/from PC type files.
