Matt -- The TCP/IP reference for V4R4 in the "interface" section and the help text about a *VIRTUALIP (not virtual controller...which I typed in my original note!) gives some sketchy clues. This is where I noted the "load balancing" options. There is also a new redbook, SG245190, that goes into a lot of detail on all the new V4R4 features and it appears to have a section on virtual IP.
