Sorry to reply to my own posting, but could some please explain when
using CPYFRMTAP what is meant by the following:

TAPE FILE:
Library:
To Tape:
Library:

The Tape file is associated with the Device you are using.  It may be created by
using the CRTTAPF command or changed with the CHGTAPF command

It allows you to enter associated information about the tape you are trying to
use.

     Block Size     Record Size    Processing Type      Ect...

This info can be found by doing a DSPTAP on the Tape.

Is this a backup tape.  If so you should be able to use the RSTOBJ command.

     Do a dsptap Dev(TapeDrive) DATA(*SAVRST)

If you get info from this command you can use the RSTOBJ and change option to
Restore to Lib TAPEDUMP.
