Do you know the reason that she keeps all these spooled files?
Archiving them to tape/CD/Fiche etc might be a better solution, and
then restore them back to the new machine if their needed.

Subject: Spooled files

I know this has been addressed before. I want opinions from
those who have had
to do this before, please.

I have a customer who has literally hundreds of spooled files
in her printques
on her old AS/400. She wants these all transferred to the new
AS/400. Is it
possible to do this in one lump as well as recreate all her outques and
printques in one lump?

I know I'm asking the impossible, but if anyone has advice or
opinions to share,
I'd truly be grateful!!

Thanks in advance,

Michele R
