Q1:Thanks to all who replied to my other questions on whether the model 500 #2140 will accept the NT card.Does anyone have a part #? Q2:The model 500 #2140 Im buying has got 128meg ram, 18 gig HD, 2167 ethernet card, V3R7.It will replace my trusty old E20 for home use. A search of the archives of the 500 turned up: Q3:My questions are how does the system enforces you to have a valid license ? assuming that -can I turn the beast into a killer NT Server by buying the NT card and using only NT Server for the OS? Q4:Why would the Model 500 puts out too much heat for home use when a search of the IBM sales manual says it only uses a 400w power supply and it is not much larger in size than my current E20? Q5:How do I get hold of an instalation guide--A seach of IBMs books online found nothing--If it was only a CD rom release has anyone got any part numbers I can try chase up? Thanks in Advance Dave Archive search results:- 1. You will have to license software for whichever box you take.
