Title: RE: PC to AS/400

You can use QDLS and a Shared folder on the PC and put the Text documents in the folder, or just generate them there, then on the AS400 use CPYFRMPCD to get it into a file, this could even be scheduled.

Subject: PC to AS/400

I've a few text files on Windows NT. We need to get them on AS/400 physical
files on an on-going basis.

I'm looking for a programming solution for this.
I do not know anything about IFS. So please bear with me.

Where do I start ? Documentation / examples will certainly help.
Where do I keep the text files? In QopenSys or QDLS or somwhere else.

Is FTP a better solution ?

Appreciate your help,

Sandeep Potnis
