Don,

Not only that, IBM will not *willingly* install Service Director on a mix
and match box....We had that problem a few years back with EMC disk.  The
Service Director piece and EMC would simply not work together.

Given the advances that IBM has made in disk technology, we are back to IBM
disk and have Service Director back and running on all our AS/400's.

I as you will mix and match at the device level, but not the internals in
the box.....Guess I still have too many bumps and bruises from the support
issues involved!  :-)
