Ed, Personally, I advise clients NOT to mix and match hardware (core, DASD, etc) on the CPU. Leads to too much problem potential....and too much finger pointing and you just don't want those kinda headaches. Now, I WILL mix and match CRT's, printers, etc....hell, if one goes toes up, its only one device, NOT the whole enchillata...:) Don in DC ------------ On Wed, 8 Mar 2000, Edward Koziol wrote: > I'm looking at EMC and IBM SAN's for the AS/400 and other platforms > along with your valued experiences. > > Negative responses may be sent to koziol@chaney.net. > > Thanks much and have a great day! > > Ed Koziol > +--- > | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! > | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. > | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. > | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. > | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com > +--- > +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
