*SNIP Net.Commerce will create the instance on the AS/400 and in the end I got one message with ID CPC2196 with standard text "Database collection not completeed". *ENDSNIP Peter, This sounds like the database name is too long. Net.Commerce will only accept a database name of 15 characters on the AS/400. The WRKRDBDIRE command will show you the names of the databases defined for your machine. The one you are interested in is the *LOCAL. If this name is more than 15 characters, that is a possible cause. With Net.Commerce it is extraordinarily important to review each and every stinking PTF that goes on the system. IBM does not document the changes that affect Net.Commerce well enough. One you have your system running, I would be very careful about CUME packages.
