RE: again validity checking program

For a validity checking program some errors like the one you received are
caused by parameters not passed.  This type of error is ok, I usually create
a Program Status Subroutine to monitor for parameters that were not passed.
If you need an example Please email me privately and I can share one out of
my COMMON Error handling presentation.

hello all,

some days ago I allready asked something about validity checking program.
With the help of the list I have began to write such a program but there are
some problems:

when CHGJOB -command wants to change a parameter that i do not check there
is an
pointer error.

I have also looked in the archive of the list to find a sample of such a
program
especially written in CL, so I found a mail from John Cirocco vom 02 Jun
1998
but I am not sure if he still is a subscriber of this list.

any help appreciated
