I was given the task of downloading comma delimited files from a PC application to the AS/400, and write an inquiry program for the results. I parsed out the file using SCAN and SUBST, and it worked. But I felt there must have been a better way to accomplish the task. What is the best way to create a template for Client Access to populate the fields without having to parse them. I had used this template method before, and it worked well, but not against a comma delimited file.
