I believe that V4R3 has this feature.
update rob/header
  set countdtl = (select count(*)
                         from rob/detail

is there a way to update a field in one physical file w/ the value of a field
from a different physcial file.  if there is a way,  what version of SQL do you
need to have?  how do you do it?
