× The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

We had a client that this was happening with, on V4R3, and after working 
with IBM on it and applying the latest cums the problem appeared to be 
corrected.  The specific problem with them was an unexplainablable lock 
while building the job log.   Even after doing an ENDJOBABN, the job would 
end but the job log would stay in an open state.  The only way to clean up 
the open job logs we found was to perform an IPL.
