Does anyone experience the 240 character per line limit problem when exporting Excel files as Formatted Text (Space Delimited) (.prn). We get a lot of disks/tapes from clients with Excel files that need to be cleaned up and exported and then uploaded to our 400. However, when we save as a space delimited .prn file any columns over the 240 character limit wrap and the file is useless. We have developed procedures for a workaround, but it is time consuming. Microsoft gives a workaround with a macro written in Visual Basic that is two pages long. Is that our only fix?
