There is a setting in the Network Neighborhood-Properties/Client for
Microsoft Network-Properties that determines whether a quick logon is done
or if the network connections are actually restored.  Reading the
description implies that if you select to restore the network connections
that it will verify that each network drive is ready to use.  Maybe if it is
set this way instead of quick logon then it will force the signon to the 400
to occur.  I haven't tried this but maybe it is worth checking.
