Prices on Ethernet hubs have come WAY down. We just bought a 5 port 10mhz hub for only $30 at our local CompUSA. John, You might want to invest in a HUB. Fairly cheap ones can be found via the internet or your local store. That way if more that one device or a printer are going to be attached via ethernet, your already set up. I would guess your cable is the source of the problem. We are assuming that the line is configured etc, and TCP/IP is set up.
