All right, let's get back to the peccary, known in the US as the javelina or
"the pigs."

Peccaries thrive in environments ranging from tropical rain forests to the
Sonoran desert.  In suburban areas in some parts of the Southwestern US they
are a much bigger threat to garbage cans than free roaming dogs or raccoons.
Like Old Mr. Benjamin Bunny, they have "no opinion whatsoever" of predators.
At an average weight of 50# they are small enough to be considered cute.
Like other swine, they're highly intelligent.  

So, we have a cute midrange animal that's intelligent, highly adaptable, and
kicks ass. Frank Zappa once used a peccary as the main character in a
concept album.

I rest my case.
