  • Subject: Re: Twinax printer for AS/400 - any suggestions?

Big question. Multipart forms? Have to address the laser printers
you know.

We have 13 AS/400's. Plants in US, Mexico and Ireland. More printers
than Carter has liver pills. I think we have one twinax printer, a 4234,
used maybe 1 hour a month. No, we don't pay maintenance. If it dies
you can buy one cheaper on the used market than probably a months of
maintenance. (Man, those third party maintenance people don't get it,
do they? It's not enough to charge x% below IBM. IBM inflates their
maintenance to encourage you to buy their latest model - 'and you'll save
all this money on maintenance!')

Subject: Twinax printer for AS/400 - any suggestions?

Thanks to everyone who responded to my IBM 5219 printer posting.

Now that I know that I'm REALLY behind the times, I would like any
suggestions of a twinax printer to be used with our AS/400 locally.

We would be using this to print our receiving tickets. On demand
    printing, continuous paper, nothing fancy.

    Thanks to all !
    Sandy
