*** ADMIN: RPG Alive and MIDRANGE-L Archives

Folks:

It's come to my attention that Profound Logic Software has been mining this 
mailing list for email addresses.  They admit this at 
http://www.rpgalive.com/mailing.html.

As a result of this action, I find it necessary to shut down the mailing 
list archives indefinitely.

In addition, I am going to be reconsidering how I operate the mailing lists 
in general.

The privacy of subscribers to lists hosted by MIDRANGE.COM is of paramount 
concern.  I will do everything in my power to protect that privacy.

As I run the lists on a very low budget, and in my off time, a legal 
approach cannot be used.

On a more personal note, I would like to state for the record that I 
consider the actions of Mr. Alexander Roytman (owner of the RPGALIVE.COM 
domain) are extremely unprofessional.
