Some of us don't know what functions are available to use in the
C Runtime LIbrary. Where can one find a list of what C functions are available on a 400 that does NOT have a C compiler, and what parameters if any are needed for using them.
The answer to this must be in terms that an RPG programmer with
NO "C" experience will understand and know how to use.
Thanks

Why not just use the "rand" and "srand" functions from the C runtime
library? rand takes no parameters and returns a pseudo-random integer
in the range 0..32767. srand can be called to set the starting point
for the pseudo-random number generator. (Don't forget to include the
bind directory QC2LE.)
Cheers!
