David, >Perhaps I was thinking of the model 400? Could be. The model 400 is RISC and the lowest processor (2130) is in the P05 group. The other three processors (2131-2133) are in the P10 group. The 400 was in the first RISC announcements. There have been numerous 400-2130's on eBay recently, although not all of them were at V4 so did not necessarily include the OS license. But those that did are probably the cheapest way to get a legal personal 400, unless you can qualify for a Partners In Development lease. >I vaguely recall that one of those black boxes was v4 capable. >Model 2069 sticks in my mind, but I wouldn't swear to it.... I think the only model with a 2069 processor is the 740, where the 2069 is in the P40 tier unless you buy up the interactive feature CPW, in which case it goes to a P50 tier. It would be kind of overkill for a personal AS/400 though. The processor CPW is a whopping 3660!
