Well, I knew about STRCPYSCN / ENDCPYSCN, and I've used it before, but I was
pretty sure there was a discussion a few (three, four?) months ago about
using some "I/O stream" API (jiggling some memory synapses here).

I seem to recall that this was a resource hog of some type because of the
constant I/O between the source session, the AS/400, and the target session.
But this would be used only rarely.

Anybody?

I believe you are talking about STRCPYSCN maybe?  Although that
seems to be screenful by screenful, not keystroke by keystroke.  I went
to implement that, but there's a bit of set up involved.
