Actually, that might not be as crazy an experiment as it first sounds.  If you
got DIMMS for a high-end server with error correction and so forth (that's
probably what David Bulog got for his Alpha) it might very well work fine.  Even
if it didn't work, I'll bet the /400 wouldn't actually die from it - it would
probably just shut it off and let you know that Service needed to look at it.

I don't think I'll try it on our 620, though - production machine, y' know.

Compusa and buy a few meg of 168 dimms and plug them in!?  Uh, I'ld
suggest you backup your entire system before, AND if anything goes wrong,
put the OLD memory back in BEFORE calling support...:)
