Scotty,

We are a school district and print report cards, paychecks, etc. on our
Xerox 4219/MRP laser printer.  It runs like a Timex and it is connected
directly via twinax to and IBM Controller.  I don't know what the total cost
of ownership is, but I'm sure Xerox can tell you that.  Hope this helps.

Hi All,

Being relatively new to the AS/400 world, I have what is probably a very
simple question. We have the need for a laser printer to be twinax attached
to one of our AS/400s, through an existing 5494 remote controller. This
printer will be used for approximately three to four thousand sheets a
month, and must support duplex printing. Any suggestions what kind and model
of printer I would be interested in getting and where I could acquire it.
New and/or used is an option depending on cost.
