I'm trying to configure a console in Client Access Express v4r4 with the latest service pack SF59557. When I configure the AS/400 Operations Console locally (no modem) I get a status of "Connecting Console" with an SRC A9003C60 on the front panel of a 150 running V4r4 with the latest CUM & hypers. The SRC is not in the manual. IBM hardware says the SRC is a console timeout and will go away when the console is connected. If I connect the cable to a different PC running CA ver. v3r2 I get a signon display with no problem but the SRC does not go away. They say in order to get Express to connect I must disable "Auto Session Disconnect" and "Power Saver Mode". IBM Hardware didn't know where those options are to disable them. I have seen Power Saver Mode on some PC's in Control Panel but I don't know if this is what they are talking about. I have never seen a feature called Auto Session Disconnect. Does anyone know where these two options are? Are they in CA someplace? Are they defined in a PC someplace? Are they defined in the 400 someplace?
